The prisoners were tortured by all kinds of torture.” Tayseer was subjected to torture and medical negligence that led to the forcible amputation of his leg.

@bexjw79 @RyanMullarkey1 @georgegalloway Name one country which became rich thanks to "equity", you can start with the Soviet bloc and Mao's China. Wealth comes from stable institutions, social trust and skilled and law abiding population, not "equity".

I am not an expert on present-day South Africa. And my feelings for the ANC are not what they were alas. But I know everything about the past. I was there. My tiny part in the overthrow of Apartheid is one of my proudest possessions. So all you Boers now coming at me should know: I'm ready.

"Privilege" is when your group's dystopian and antisocial behavior is expected to be tolerated, is unfixable, and you're a net taker from the system.

@RyanMullarkey1 @georgegalloway They also have far more chance of a good education and access to jobs. White privilege remains very real in SA and it’s this we should be talking about not pretending their is some kind of disproportionate threat to white people

@RyanMullarkey1 @georgegalloway They carry on nicely thanks. My kids are white South Africans and live very privileged lives in comparison to the majority. As white children they are far less likely to face violence and poverty than a black child in this country.
