Scathing critique of our Cochrane review accompanied by packed COI statement. Nothing more to say really. @msk_health

Pain Prehab, A Path Forward blog. To quote Sir William Osler: the good physician treats the disease, the great physician treats the person that has the disease. Over 100 yrs after his death and healthcare still doesn’t embrace this. It’s disappointing. m.facebook.com/story.php?stor…

The RESTORE trial just out in the 'The Lancet'. This trial brings hope to people disabled by low back pain. It puts the patient in the drivers seat, with skills to self-manage...it works, it save $$ and they like it. Massive team effort led by Peter Kent. thelancet.com/journals/lance…

@liammannix Agree- is quite thorough and well written. Education and exercise hard to sell compared to Biomarkers and possible medication developments. Not sexy enough and rarely funded well for adequate efficacy/ long term management.

This is a good deep dive on the science of chronic (and back) pain - although surprised it did not look more at education and exercise-based treatments nature.com/immersive/d415…
