Ok just finished it. I've been watching Goldie, Armin, and Tousi and from what I can gather from them is that the Islamic Republic is caught between a rock and a hard place. Major fractures are happening within it because the state TV has been telling them that they are winning this war. The supporters of the Regime are furious that they are negotiating with the Americans. The Regime is telling them that they have some super amazing weapons and they are waiting to strike and destroy the US military, but they haven't got anything other than what the first Shah left them. They did have shipments from China come in with more weapons but with the previous Chinese tech kerfuffle, not sure how that will play out. They think they're winning and will be soon catching on that they were lied to and propagandized so its either a choice of surrender to all Trump's terms, or face the wrath from a community that they've literally turned into violent savages. So they'll either get unalived or will have to flee into another country. This is getting spicy!!
