The Wonderful Desmond Carrington. Whenever I listen to some of his programmes in the archives, I always smile. He was witty, informative and really enthusiastic about the music he used to play you and I!😊📻 Definitely an underrated talent of the airwaves.

Don't often post here now but this photo is a nice memory from around 40 years ago at Jodrell Bank. A group of us raised a big sum for good causes in a TV telethon. Peter and I did talks in the planetarium. Happily they knew we were serious as they had long passed cases on to me.
