Join us this long weekend at the Victoria Butterfly Gardens for a #family adventure! You’ll meet curious creatures in our Insectarium, like the Frogg-legged #Beetle. The males of this colourful species have extremely powerful hind legs that they use for battling with other males.

The Blue Morpho #butterfly, or Morpho peleides, are experts at hanging out incognito. The underside of their wings have large, eyespot patterns that are used as a defense mechanism by mimicking the eyes of larger animals, such as birds or mammals. Our Hours: 10am - 3pm everyday

Welcome to pineapple paradise! Archaeological evidence of the Pineapple use in human culture is found as far back as 1200 - 800 BC (3200-2800 BP) in Peru! These cute little tropical fruits can be found growing throughout our jungle.

Meet Reggie the Fly River Turtle! Unlike most turtles, male Fly River turtles never leave the water, and female Fly River turtles will only leave the water to lay eggs and nest. Learn more about our Fly River Turtles by visiting us this holiday season!

This holiday season we're releasing over 750 Blue Morpho Butterflies, Morpho peleides, into our jungle! This is over 25 times the amount of Morphos that are normally habituating our special garden.
