@justguilda I’m glad your father was admitted and diagnosed, and that he’s recovering. He’s lucky on so many levels. But having to wait nine (9) hours to be seen for a mild heart attack isn’t right.

Waited 9 hours before they saw my dad. It turned out to be a mild heart attack. Thankfully, he’s now recovering. Grateful for all prayers and well wishes. It’s scary to think others have waited even longer, with tragic outcomes, due to ongoing understaffing and overcrowding.

@clintenttotreat My daughters are on the spectrum. One (26 years old) is persevering to earn a nursing degree, the other (23) is looking for a new job and will have more challenges, but both are verbal and have lovely singing voices. There is life after diagnosis.

My daughter called me dad very clearly yesterday. She is 5 years old and autistic, with very limited language. She used to say "dad" before her speech regression (before age 2) but hasn't since then (at least not clearly directed at me). This feeling is hard to beat.
