"Ban school tours" I don't know why as Ugandans, our default settings to solving problems is calling for a ban. We all grew up going for school tours in 2nd terms. How about you call for regulations like distances, why are you taking 4-13yr olds to kapchorwa?

It seems you've not heard about school trips from Uganda to Europe or to Countries in the Middle East like Dubai. Taking children to Kapchorwa is not the problem here. We are talking about the mechanical condition of the buses used to transport children, the discipline and professionalism of the drivers among other important factors. It is unfortunate that we lost lives of innocent children due to circumstances that could be avoided.

As a parent if you let your kids go anywhere taken by the school and they aren’t accepting full liability (you sign indemnity waivers) you are foolish and deserve what’s happening.

@TonyNatif @BalaamBarugahar For me anybody helping us fix things is welcome! He is doing what many institutions supposed to do failed and I applaud him. He should continue!

Happy with Minister @BalaamBarugahar’s hands-on approach or is it bothering you? Basically anything local government is in his docket. Think regional/district schools, roads, hospitals etc. As citizens, we should help the Minister improve service delivery at local level instead of fighting him.
