Used correctly, HTML is accessible by default. #a11y problems arise when we use CSS or JS for tasks they shouldn’t perform. Example: don’t use CSS to convey meaning or content. Doing so breaks assistive technologies. @ireaderinokun #AEAOT

@mattparlmer This started some time ago. If ya’ll haven’t read The Power Broker: Robert Moses by Robert Caro, it’s a good one for context. His influence did not stop in New York.

@timkelty @timkelty Yea! I've used it everyday for several years and have had no need to question it. It started as a minimal configuration, but is now more of a plugin manager with efficient first party plugins and a very fast start time. github.com/bgrrtt/dotfile…

You know how leading always felt kind of broken/weird in web typography? Yeah, that’s because it is. The CSSWG is working on fixing it permanently — specifically @fantasai with the support of Microsoft Design. Read about how it will work in the future: medium.com/microsoft-desi…

@timkelty I’m mainly in the terminal or VS Code, but I just switched from Sourcetree to Fork when wanting something stupid clear and visual. It’s been great! git-fork.com

Sell me on your favorite Git GUI/client for mac? I’ve used SourceTree for a while, and tried cli based solutions like lazygit/tig, but always end up wanting a true GUI when I want something to dead-stupid clear to me. ST does what I want, but is just a bit clunky.

Something I talk about with @adamwathan a lot... the ability to quickly know where and how to start debugging a problem and how to quickly narrow down what is causing the problem is an under-appreciated developer skill that can make you very productive. 🐛

60. Our collective bitter resentment of society for its failures needs to be channelled productively or we're in for some ugly days ahead.

Each particle stays a set distance from one another. An infected particle is introduced, infecting all those around. With time the infection fades but not fast enough if the particles are too close. We increase the separation and the virus dies. #SocialDistanacing #openframworks
