Why do we praise Kohli when he sends flying kisses to Anushka but tend to call it out when Hardik does it. Sure you may find it a little over the top, but we hardly know anything about their emotional struggles as a player. Let’s give them that space and grace Hiding affection from children makes it a 'taboo' instead of a normal part of life. Let’s teach the next generation that winning is sweet, but sharing that win with the people you love is what matters most. It is such a beautiful moment. In almost every other global sport (Football, Tennis, Olympics), athletes celebrating with their families and partners is considered the highlight of the broadcast.
