This is Ana Sagar lake of Ajmer. Shah Jahan, Jahangir, several British Residents loved to spend their time here. Currently, you cannot stand near this due to horrid stench of rotting fishes & filth coming from sewerage in it. Every year, before Monsoon, they drain water from the lake and kill lacs of fishes. Why? Because there are illegal colonies in wetland of this lake. Today, there is Ajmer Bandh in protest to save Ana Sagar. Shame on authorities to do this with an ecosystem.
