@SharmaShradha बिहार की बेटियाँ बोझ नहीं, रीढ़ हैं। —चाहे उद्यमिता हो, कला हो या देश की सुरक्षा के लिए पुलिस की वर्दी। समस्या बेटियों में नहीं, उस सोच में है जो औरत को कीमत में तौलती है।

कितना दर्दनाक है कि जब बिहार की बेटियाँ गरीबी और जेंडर डिस्क्रिमिनेशन से लड़कर अपने लिए रास्ता बना रही हैं, तब कुछ लोग उनके लिए “20–25 हजार में खरीदे जाने” जैसी घटिया बातें करते हैं। ऐसे लोगों के स्तर से कहीं ऊपर बिहार की बेटियों की उपलब्धियाँ हैं। एक तरफ़ ये लोग बिहार की बेटियों पर घटिया बयान देकर समाज में गंदगी फैला रहे हैं, वहीं वही बेटियाँ मिथिला पेंटिंग के ज़रिए पूरी दुनिया को खूबसूरत बना रही हैं। जिन बिहार की बेटियों के बारे में 20–25 हजार में खरीदने जैसी घृणित मानसिकता रखी जाती है, उन्हीं में से एक बेटी अनिता कुमारी को उद्यमिता के लिए नीति आयोग द्वारा सम्मानित किया जाता है। वही बेटियाँ लाखों स्वयं सहायता समूहों का संचालन कर रही हैं। बिहार की बेटियों को 20–25 हजार में खरीदने की सोच रखने वाले लोग समाज को असुरक्षित बनाते हैं, लेकिन उसी समाज को सुरक्षित बनाने के लिए पूरे देश में सबसे ज़्यादा संख्या में बिहार की बेटियाँ पुलिस सेवा में शामिल होती हैं।

I recently met the founder Manish Dixit in Patna, and was inspired by his clarity of vision and determination to build world-class aerospace and drone technology from Bihar. STORY | Startup founders meet in Delhi to discuss solutions to air pollution About 40 startup founders and business representatives met here on Saturday to discuss problem-focused solutions to tackle Delhi's air pollution, a statement said. The meeting, held at Central Park, was attended by representatives from venture capital and private equity firms. Startups working in areas such as mobility, agriculture and air purification shared their approaches and discussed challenges in expanding these interventions, the statement added. Shradha Sharma, founder of The Bharat Project, which organised the meeting, said the focus is on building capacity over the next 11 months so that the city is better prepared to deal with air pollution next year. She said some of the ideas will be presented to the city administration to seek support for broader adoption of the initiatives, the statement added. Let me admit, after hosting TechSparks and SheSparks and all those hundreds of events over the years, this was the first time I found myself hosting an event where the participants and I were sitting on the floor of a public park. Yes, we held our very first meeting of the pollution initiative and we decided it needed to be a community event, and not a corporate event. We gathered at Connaught Place's Central Park. A focused group of Founders, VCs, Private Equity people, academics - all deeply engaging with each other. We all had one thing in common - children, elders and loved ones who are struggling to breathe and desperately want to change things around. Founders pitched their products, investors gave their thumbs-up - and the community that decided to back each other in this journey. I will be sharing more details soon, but at this stage I just want to say - I am so grateful to everyone who is part of this initiative and has stepped up. Thank you. ❤️
