actually, yan din talaga yung reason ko kung bakit si stell yung bias ko. tbh, hindi ko talaga kilala ang SB19 before. ang alam ko lang sila yung kumanta ng MAPA at GENTO. last Feb 2024, my lola passed away. sobrang biglaan kaya sobrang sakit. parang may part sa sarili ko na nawala na rin. for months, gabi-gabi akong umiiyak, and honestly, pakiramdam ko nun hindi na ako babalik sa dati. then one random night around May 2024, may dumaan sa timeline ko—live ni stell. yung kumakanta siya ng “arnibal ng taho”. sobrang random at simple lang nun pero ewan ko, tawang-tawa talaga ako. yung tipong hindi ko na namalayan na nakangiti na pala ako and for the first time in a long time, nakalimutan ko kahit sandali yung bigat na dala ko. dun ko na-realize… after months na puro lungkot, nakatawa na ulit ako. and that moment felt so new, parang first time ko ulit huminga nang maayos. hanggang sa sunod-sunod na… nanonood na ako ng videos nila, nakikinig sa songs, getting to know SB19 little by little. and si stell, iba talaga yung impact niya. hindi lang siya funny—may warmth, may comfort, na parang kahit hindi niya alam, may napapagaan siyang pakiramdam. kaya hindi lang siya basta “bias” for me.
parang naging safe space ko na rin siya during a time na sobrang gulo at bigat ng lahat. and hanggang ngayon, dala ko pa rin yung moment na akala ko hindi na ako tatawa ulit… pero nagawa ko, just because of him and i’ll always be grateful for that. ❤️‍🩹 thank you, @stellajero_ you may not know me, and you may never read this, but i just want to say how much you’ve helped me more than you could ever imagine. you may just be doing what you love, but to someone like me, you became a light in one of my darkest times. and thank you, Lord, for stell. thank you for bringing someone so genuine, funny, and inspiring into this world. someone who unknowingly became a light in my darkest days. thank you for giving me a reason to smile again, to laugh again, to feel hope again. truly grateful for this little blessing you sent when i needed it the most. 💙
