TIL you can only bring a pep band of 29 students to NCAA tournament games.

Phil loves his son. 😂 Beating UNC is big. It’s probably the best 1st year VCU coaching performance with Anthony Grant beating Duke in his first year also being in that conversation.
For me the biggest W has to be VCU beating Kansas in the Elite 8 to go to the Final Four though.

I remember 15 years ago being in Dayton for the First 4 to root for VCU after getting an at-large bid out of the CAA. Dayton fans (and bartenders) were so nice to all us VCU peeps after beating USC. Little did they know…..
