Gap is partnering with Awake NY, the New York-based streetwear brand founded by Angelo Baque, on a 27-piece collection of adult and kids apparel and accessories. The collection includes sweats, t-shirts, denim, utility wear and accessories, inspired by Gap archives and ’90s streetwear. It features items such as GapSweats fleece, reworked denim and cargos, an athletic jersey, a ‘47 Brand New York Mets hat and a co-branded blanket. Prices range from $18-$268. The campaign, shot by Elissa Salas and Hidji World, highlights families and features New York creatives including Baque and his family (shown here), Frenchette, Potluck Club’s Cory Ng and Planta Industrial. Gap x Awake NY launches March 27 at 12 PM EST on the Gap website and at select Gap stores including The Grove at Farmers Market in Los Angeles; Garden State Plaza in Paramus, N.J.; 2 Folsom Street in San Francisco, and Times Square and Flatiron in New York. In addition, a limited number of styles will be available at Awake NY’s flagship on Orchard Street in New York. The collection will also be available internationally in the Middle East, Czechia, China, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Japan and on Zalando.
