Babies get raped. Elderly women get raped. Women dressed modestly get raped. Women in hijabs get raped. Nuns get raped. Women in jeans, tracksuits, pyjamas, school uniforms, work uniforms get raped. There is no outfit that prevents rape and no outfit that invites it.
If you are more comfortable analysing a woman’s clothing than condemning a rapist, you are part of the problem.

Men would NEVER be subjected to this public harassment and humiliation for ANY behavior. Not for raping kids or animals. Not for raping women. Not even for raping their own daughters or raping their wives. Men commit crime and shame victims. It’s terrorism against all women.

FRANCE 1945 WHEN SHAME WAS TAKEN OUT ON WOMEN After the war ended, France did not only celebrate liberation. In towns and cities across the country, around 20,000 women were publicly humiliated. Their heads were shaved, they were paraded through streets, spat on, beaten, and marked for life. Many were accused of “horizontal collaboration,” not for fighting, not for betraying the nation, but for relationships, conversations, dancing, or simply surviving under occupation. Some had German lovers. Some were translators. Some were accused with no proof at all.

My classmate was raped on her way back home from university and got pregnant, but couldn’t get an abortion due to the laws. She had to drop out of university where she was studying medicine. Because of pregnancy and childbirth expenses, she couldn’t continue her studies, left college, started working at a coffee shop, lost the fun of her early twenties, and lost the chance to attend international medical conferences she once dreamt of… all just to give birth to a child she never wanted.
People say, “What if the baby you abort grows up and cures cancer?”
Okay — but what if the 19-year-old you deny an abortion to grows up and cures cancer?
Now she can’t afford to get an education. Instead, she has to take care of a baby. What about her? An actual living human being???
“Abortion ends potential life”… So do property disputes, war, and genocide. You only seem to care about lives when women don’t give birth to them.

Today’s American History Lesson: Puerto Rico has been part of the U.S. since 1898, and Puerto Ricans have been U.S. citizens since 1917 🇵🇷 🇺🇸
We’ve cheered many non-Americans at the #SuperBowl. Bad Bunny isn’t one of them.
