After you've been exposed to 'art' and 'expression' from those labelling themselves as 'creatives' you realise very few of them are creative at all.
They fall into this predictable archetype. Similar alt-clothes, styles, hair, piercings, tattoos, interests, hobbies, beliefs.
Even the art is largely superficial and unoriginal in all of its forms. Stuff you've seen before made for the sake of making something.

30 years fighting insurgents in the desert says otherwise.
Once you make people criminals, a sizable number won't comply with the law.
Once violence becomes an acceptable tool in the zeitgeist (and it would quickly) they'll organize.
The US has an atrocious track record fighting insurgencies because all they need to do to win is not give up and cause as much pain to the host nation as possible.
You'll hear about sniper attacks, roadside kinetics, raids on police stations, and more.
It only takes 50 or so really dedicated people to cause billions of dollars of damage.
Just look at the IRA during the Troubles if you want an idea of the can of worms you'd be opening.
