Was recently asked how much a local (NL based) podcast studio/service costs. Strangely, other than my own former freelance costs I actually didn't know what these places charge.

@TalkinYanks suggestion from a podcast producer with 2 decades of experience: get Katie Sharpe digital recorder, something high end. Shes way too important to the show to have this crunchy voicemail sound every week.

@DHLNL All good now but you should help drivers organize their vehicle. I've seen our guys in the neighborhood, lots of days there are packages in chaotic piles that get thrown around every time they hit the breaks. That's why i had my eye on the street cause it was bound to happen

I just found my @DHLNL package containing my child's new passport and birth documents in the middle of the street one block from my house. It had been run over many times. Thankfully i spotted it and it's contents are flat paper anyway ✅

@radioclashblog I hear similar wrong histories from people making documentaries and interviews where they give credit to the "first" podcasters like Marc Maron and Joe Rogan 😔

@bicyclemark Interestingly I'm seeing a lot of revisionism and weird history being presented about the early-mid 00's and social media and mashups re: 'digital optimism" e.g.#bibr68-1354856520983758" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.11… I mean we are still here? They could ask us rather than get it so wrong?

@PatMcAfeeShow re: logistical & 💰 challenge of having teams based i Europe. Tax wise they can setup in any number of low tax counties (Ireland, Netherlands, etc) Family wise just like in US you move or start your family here. Food ain't that different anymore. Let's go!
