Had a great time visiting one of my AAU basketball alumni players at Oklahoma State University!! Despite almost not making it due to flight delays, the trip turned out great!! Got to see Ben start against the University of Houston, play good minutes, and made some good plays on both sides of the court. The referees tried to throw him off his game by giving him a tech after scoring in the paint. Even though the University of Houston rallied to win the game, I enjoyed watching the effort, competitiveness, and the energy that was displayed by the team. After the game I met up with both the head coach and Coach Dana and had good conversation, got an all access tour of the sports facility, and finish the day eating good at a hibachi place. I must say I am extremely proud of the progress Ben has made over the year since the day I met him almost 4 years ago. When I see kids thrive as they get older and accomplishing their goals in real time, it always has me reflecting going back to the beginning when it first started of remembering my why!! @TNEBBallClub @bigbe_nn @OSUMBB @PSAhoops @DanaJValentine

Ben Ahmed...Holy Sh%&+!...What a DEBUT! Ahmed is a 4-star recruit out of Nigeria, who went to HS in Connecticut and is a very exciting freshman. Ahmed hurt his foot last summer and is just now getting back, so the minutes are limited, but DAYUM, he stuffed to stat sheet while he was in. Coach Lutz is on record as saying that he might be the best rebounder on the roster, especially offensively, and he AIN'T wrong. Dude has a knack for finding the ball off the board, and he has moves around the bucket. He's also patient, sets his defender up, and can use either hand to finish. Need to get this dude more PT so he can continue to get in basketball shape...LFG! Ahmed had 6 points and 7 boards in just 8 minutes! More Cowbell Please! #OkState #GoPokes
