I think we do need to talk about Oneil Cruz a bit. He had such an amazing start to the season but has since really tapered off. 80 Ks in 49 games is ridiculous in the worst way. I just don’t get it with him. There’s so much talent and raw ability there but it’s so volatile.

The Pirates are about to fall to 13-13 at home. Way too many missed opportunities. 0-7 against the Cardinals and Phillies with two ugly blown leads. Blew leads to the Rays and Nats. 17-9 looks way different. This team isn’t winning 50 on the road
