Germans love a 7-1 World Cup scoreline. Ok, it’s not Brazil 2014 in Belo Horizonte. It’s Curacao, 82 in the world, ruthlessly put to the sword, yes a historic goal, and wonderful support, but hardly a great advertisement for 48-team tournament. So perspective needed … but Germany look good, popping the ball about, so much good technique and movement, so much creativity in Wirtz and Musiala, so much finishing finesse in Havertz. Germany rolling again and Houston a good place for a launch. #FIFAWorldCup

Yes mate that Argentina team in 98 was world class. So was the Portugal team in 06 & the team in 08 we went out to…oh wait we didn’t even qualify.
The US team who topped our group in 2010 were world class too.
