Per the Act 976, raw bauxite export was supposed to be banned by August 2023, but here we are!!! And we have a new GIADEC CEO making plans to export concessions all in the name of “commercialization”…smh!!

This is exactly the point I was making. It’s in a nation’s interest to avoid direct diplomatic confrontation with superpowers. When their actions do not directly affect you, it’s wise to stay cautious.
Showing solidarity is fine, but the less you appear as an adversary, the better. these powers act if they choose to.
