People who are damaged/broken are seen differently from a counselor’s POV. As a counselor, we see beyond that, we make sure to get to the root cause. Most of the time, people who are damaged/broken on the inside has had past experiences or childhood experiences that has shaped them into the person they are now. They never wanted to be who they are now but they just had to build a coping mechanism to help them live with those experiences better and most of the time, it doesn’t really help.
