Do you use separate #docker images for training and prod? - Train with @nvidia #GPU base image - Run model binaries in prod with a smaller image (doesn’t need GPU or #python dependencies for training) I want to avoid bugs from dependency differences 😕 #machine_learning #MLOps

I have so much respect for teachers! I'm trying my hand at teaching ML/DL. Got this feedback for my last session 😶 I'm anxious all weekend for 2hrs with 12 students. I can't imagine teaching larger classes multiple times a week. 👀 Any tips are appreciated!

Does anyone else feel weird about giving someone a bouquet of flowers? Like, "Hey, I paid someone to cut these from their life source. Put them in water so you can watch them slowly die" ...

@bigdana Great list, for my younger self I would add: always assume you are wrong until proven right... in fact I’d say most men need that advice

Advice I'd give my younger self: The best way to exceed your manager's expectations is to lower them. It's easy to underestimate the complexity of something we've never built before. Get external estimates for fair deadlines & voice your concerns early 🌞
