The Downtown LA area under tonight’s curfew, starting at 8pm and ending at 6am tomorrow morning (06/11), per @MayorOfLA.

I issued a curfew starting tonight at 8pm for Downtown Los Angeles to stop bad actors who are taking advantage of the President's chaotic escalation. If you do not live or work in Downtown L.A., avoid the area. Law enforcement will arrest individuals who break the curfew, and you will be prosecuted.

Says credentialed media, Downtown LA residents, unhoused folks are exempt.

A limited curfew will be in place tonight from 8pm to 6am in one square mile area of Downtown LA per @MayorOfLA. Mayor Karen Bass says tomorrow she’ll evaluate on curfew continuation, but expects it to last several days.
