@futchlver yeah i think its definitely possible for them to podium sweep and im not denying it wouldve been a possibility this year, its just the wording of these posts makes out like russian skaters are obviously gonna top 3 which seems overly confident given past years

@futchlver it just seems like a claim backed up only by the fact that russian skaters are better technically than most other countries skaters and not by the past olympics or russias current seniors so idk why its such a popular opinion to say they wouldve sweeped 2026

@bigfishonaline_ even if it did (pretty sure it hasn’t happened ever) i don’t know how it would affect the argument that russia could podium sweep the 2026 olympics. project started with junior triple A and it was quite successful

@futchlver no yeah my only point bringing up years is that if it had happened recently id understand people saying it couldve happened 2026 as well, but the closest theyve come (from what i know) is 2022
