What you call racism her is individual racial animus potentially experienced by everyone, you're just elevating that potential animus if it comes from white ppl. DEI didn't address that animus it just elevated animus towards whites and Asians. Except it was the systemic racism DEI is meant to address. To do so it lowers the standard everywhere employed. The mythological "all equal" scenario is just a justification for this systemic racism "for justice." Qualified ppl don't need DEI especially in the current world where race is considered even when acknowledged as unlawful, look at admissions in the Ivies.
