i see incredible feats of generosity, kindness, and bravery in daily situations when people have access to the “how”. i’ve never pushed a strangers car without a host of other strangers next to me. what we sorely need is more people to get out where they are and push this thing.

@McNasty I feel like the nike quote “just do it” actually just works for dealing with depression. From my experience, I normally have to stop using my brain to do certain activities so I actually do it. So I guess I manipulate my mind too to force myself to do stuff

making drastic changes in my life has really made me realize how depressed i used to be and i didn't even realize it until i changed. sitting inside all day and doing nothing is not normal. i hate that it took me this long to realize, but im happy i broke the curse of laziness.
