Also, every one of these players has competed internationally for Canada before, so it’s not like these players aren’t known to Hockey Canada. To put a cherry on top, the U18 team that most of these guys played for won gold.

In case you didn’t notice, team Canada left FIVE top 15 overall NHL draft picks off of their team this year, that is laughable and there needs to be major changes (they couldn’ve had 14 first round picks on their team if these 5 first-rounders were added to their roster).
