Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump's supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That's all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don't reflect who we are as a nation.

@YotelHQ So, as someone who travels for a living and writes about accommodations and experiences, this is the first time I've ever been compelled to warn folks to avoid a chain for ripping me off.

With my job, I stay in a lot of hotels. But until I stayed at a @YotelHQ in DC, I've never had to file a complaint with a Consumer Protection Division. I was charged over $100 more than expected in hidden fees and taxes and they refuse to reverse the charges.

@YotelHQ My reservation confirmation clearly states that all fees and taxes have been paid. The clerk repeated that. But they charged me a "facility fee" for every day and then taxed that too. Speaking to a representative, they refuse to issue a refund no matter what.

One of the things I hated most was when I sent a pitch & it went into the electronic void. Was it a good pitch but the wrong time? Completely suck? How could I know? I got over 200 pitches (& expected 30) from my call-out, but I can now say I've answered every single one. 🥳
