Hey @BungieHelp. This should be a simple 2 part fix. 1.Patch the original Bug which allowed for the crazy crafting in the first place. 2. Reset all crafted weapons to having standard perks and allow players to reshape for zero material costs. This would not impede playability at all.

UPDATE: In the first of multiple updates, which is going live shortly, a selection of Exotic and Legendary frames and perks on crafted weapons will be temporarily disabled. Crafted weapons can still be equipped. This includes: Osteo Striga, Revision Zero, Dead Man’s Tale, Dead Messenger, Vexcalibur, and all three Exotic class glaives. This will not affect any versions of these that exist that were not crafted. We’re currently building a second fix focused on replacing illegitimate perks on crafted weapons. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for future updates on this issue.

@Virolykana @BungieHelp Admit has one t. And we’re talking about a game. I’ve had more fun playing with clever god roll crafting and haven’t even used them in end game content. As another said, get over yourself.

@bilivegas @BungieHelp also, no one forced u to do the glitch, u just saw a instand chance to basicly cheat your way forward, and u took it as fast as u could. just admitt u cant play the game unless its basicly cheating

UPDATE: We're working on two fixes for this issue. There are no plans for a rollback. For the first fix, deploying within the next 24 hours, we’re building a server-side update that will disable all crafted weapons from being equipped. Players will still be able to craft weapons during this time. The second fix we’re building, which we hope to release soon after the first, will allow crafted weapons to be re-equipped but the outlier crafted weapons with “illegal” components will be reset to a default state.

@BungieHelp Could you guys please fix this? I have tried 3 times and this same thing happens, subclasses are locked and am unable to progress. I can buy fragments but still cannot change subclasses as they still remain locked.

We've deployed a change to public spaces to limit the number of Fireteams allowed to one in order to fix blocking issues in several activities and missions. This change does not affect the Leviathan or Tower. A more permanent fix will be issued at a later date.

@tedcruz What’s insane is that you still think you’re relevant. Also, there should be a space before and after a set of ellipsis.

@BlueWestlo It’s just a bit pointless. Players complain about the aforementioned weapons being used in pvp. Now after sun setting, they are useless in PVE and you’ll still be getting killed by them in PVP. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see players running one sunset weapon in trials.

Can we all agree now that sunsetting is very very not good. 😬
