I really love & want to have good football talks on here, but it can be really hard with ppl creating narratives without understand “real” football: 1) You can be great in many ways, not only by physically being able to “do things others can’t do” 2) Just throwing out a stat to say someone is better, without understanding what really makes someone better 3) Creating narratives about guys without having watched their career up close and personal! You can’t come in after the fact, dissect stats and what they “might” mean & then make definitive statements - it’s ok to say, “I’m not really sure bc I didn’t watch enough of them to truly know”!

This surprised me. I wanted to know which vehicle would keep you warm the longest if stranded on the side of the road in winter. I compared a fully fueled 2025 Honda Civic to a fully charged Tesla 3. Turns out the Tesla wins, which is not what I expected. The Civic can idle and provide cabin heat for about 12-25 hours, depending on a few conditions. The Teslas has a cabin heat pump that can provide heat for 30-80 hours. The Tesla wins decisively in efficiency for prolonged idling with heat because the heat pump moves heat rather than generating it wastefully from fuel. In cold-weather scenarios like being stuck or camping with heat on, a fully charged Tesla provides significantly more endurance than a fully fueled 2025 Honda Civic.
