@HitmanMattingly @theblockspot The original format had 3 divisions in each conference. 3 division winners get top 3 seeds and then 4-8 is by rest of conference points. The division winners would be buffalo, Carolina and Pittsburgh. Montreal would then get 4, Tampa bay 5. Here is the look of 2008 for example
