Considering this city’s history with the Missouri Valley Conference (Creighton was a member for decades), it would be a worthwhile investment for UNO to pursue it. Better chance at an at-large bid for basketball… better TV package with ESPN and ESPN+… easier to market to established hoops fans in Omaha. The athletic department has ~8,000 seats they could sell for men’s basketball each season.
