Per @MLSPA on Instagram, last night's 9-0 FC Cincinnati win in @TheChampions was the largest margin of victory by any MLS Club in any competition ever.
It's also the most goals scored by an MLS team in a match, surpassing the previous record of 8.

Lots of meaning behind it, but most of all: He met a kid at the hospital named Jude, who had cancer. Jude asked if he would do that celebration next time he scored. For context, Matt Miazga was suspended by the MLS Disciplinary Committee three games for aggressively entering the referees room after a 2023 playoff game.
The Committee & Commissioner Garber retain sole discretion to decide what sanctions are appropriate for misconduct of this sort.
