Can't say my produce is better but I don't spray, I don't exploit my workers, I don't drop my suppliers at a drop of a hat, cos it's a penny cheaper in South America. With mine and others produce, you know the provenance .

There is plenty of support for growing more of our own food. Tell your local supermarket we want more U.K. produce. I am pressing the government to get behind our farmers and fishing industry. Not much choice of U.K. cheeses, fruit and veg in some shops.

@PythaGo30093623 @andraswf @Jazzbird51 I did forced Rhubarb at £5.50/kg and Rhubarb at £3.30/kg last year.
Gooseberries incredibly easy to growth and propagate. Just like all the ribes family I put softwood cuttings into a trench and heel in, in October and and then plant up in March. Got 500 from 25 bushes😁

@billyauger1 @andraswf @Jazzbird51 I assume that would be forced rhubarb, that would likely be an expensive crop. Wild garlic is not a staple crop albeit a nice 'salad'. How long would it take for UK gooseberry & fruit production to supply demand? Which landowners will plant these, where will plants come from?
