@Heartsouravk I think your older license should be of version 11.1 and new one should be of version 11.5. Check your license version in license file and use accordingly. thanks.

@bimalj13 Thanks for your reply, actually the problem was with the odbc cli driver, I was using the old one with the older license. I have updated cli driver with the new one. Do I need to update the license also, as I am getting licensing error.

@bimalj13 Sorry for asking you here, will you please clarify one issue related to ibm_db. Currently the latest version requires gcc compiler version 8.4. But in my case the rhel7 linux has gcc version 4.8.5, is there anyway rather than upgrading gcc version to make it work.

@Heartsouravk Download public.dhe.ibm.com/ibmdl/export/p… , untar it, export IBM_DB_HOME=<full path of clidriver> and then install ibm_db This clidriver requires db2connect v11.1 license file. Check open your db2con*.lic file in an editor and check for version in this file.
