Don't complain to clients. Like ever. Stand up for yourself, but don't whine. It's big red flag as a freelancer. Oh yeah... there are red flags we have for clients... and there are red flags they have for freelancers. It goes both ways!

But is there anyone talking about the WHY? The references? The art direction? Why the choices balance a client's wants with the audiences needs? Is there even an audience for that discussion in motion design – or are we all just figuring out how to make more for less and faster?

Can i just say this game is brilliant. It had us all belly laughing round the tele just now. I love the animation, the slapsticks brilliant, as is the dialogue. Its just an absolute joy.

We had a fantastic time at @developconf in Brighton last week! It was so great to see friends and clients old and new! The unofficial animation meetup was lovely and exceeded our expectations so look forward to us hosting that again even BIGGER NEXT YEAR!

Think I'm recovered from my first develop conference now. That was mint. Solo parenting after a week of little sleep not so much. Thanks everyone that let me tag along, new friends, and big hugs to old friends I got to catch up with.
