@Topps @FanaticsCards @Fanatics, I have handled this professionally and through proper channels for almost 4 months. I am now requesting immediate escalation to leadership regarding both cases, particularly the missing Cooper Flagg card.
Collectors deserve better than this.

🧵In early February, I submitted two defective cards to @Topps for a defect claim. Combined estimated value: $90,000 to $300,000+. It has now been almost 4 months. Today, I received news that should concern every collector in this hobby.

The 2023 Prizm Black 1/1 Victor Wembanyama just sold for $5.11 million in a private deal brokered by @collect 🤯
This is the most expensive non-auto NBA card ever sold and more than five times higher than Wemby's previous record of $860K set in February 2025.
It is also the third sports card to cross $5 million this year alone 📈

@el_kanon_breaks @todd4444 Maybe Topps doesn’t upload the celebrity openings with no big hits 🤔 seems a bit more reasonable than them juicing the cases

@todd4444 It's a pattern. Every video Topps releases of celebrity openings has fire in them.

I have some thing to say. Topps clearly heard the negative feedback with the celebrity pulls but decided to downplay it instead of eliminate the juiced boxes.
1. Beginning of the video a lady off camera says, "As you get good ones, kind of turn them to show..." Implying they knew there would be good ones?
2. The best hit of the box was a massive Ashton Jeanty rookie auto red /5. They don't even mention the name or acknowledge just how big the card is. They kind of downplay the pull and cut the video.
3. The guy behind him is even a Raiders fan? I don't know who it is but kind of weird.
4. Three autos. All rookies.
Gold /50
Orange Wave /25
Red /5
If they aren't juicing boxes, then Mike Trout is the most unlucky person on the field and the most lucky off the field.

@CardPurchaser hit this in a break. Should I sell the redemption card, redeem and sell the real one? I saw a green refractor tet listed for $4,500 that seems absurd… I’ve never hit a redemption so not sure how to approach this, thanks
