Tonight, we reached an agreement with the Department of War to deploy our models in their classified network. In all of our interactions, the DoW displayed a deep respect for safety and a desire to partner to achieve the best possible outcome. AI safety and wide distribution of benefits are the core of our mission. Two of our most important safety principles are prohibitions on domestic mass surveillance and human responsibility for the use of force, including for autonomous weapon systems. The DoW agrees with these principles, reflects them in law and policy, and we put them into our agreement. We also will build technical safeguards to ensure our models behave as they should, which the DoW also wanted. We will deploy FDEs to help with our models and to ensure their safety, we will deploy on cloud networks only. We are asking the DoW to offer these same terms to all AI companies, which in our opinion we think everyone should be willing to accept. We have expressed our strong desire to see things de-escalate away from legal and governmental actions and towards reasonable agreements. We remain committed to serve all of humanity as best we can. The world is a complicated, messy, and sometimes dangerous place.

@SenBillCassidy Talk is cheap. Free, even. What are you going to DO about it? Nothing, as usual. The babies who will die, their blood is on your hands for your yes vote and you will NEVER be able to wash it off. Take it to your grave. And beyond.

As a doctor who treated patients for decades, my top priority is protecting children and families. Multiple children have died or were hospitalized from measles, and South Carolina continues to face a growing outbreak. Two children have died in my state from whooping cough. All of this was preventable with safe and effective vaccines. The vaccine schedule IS NOT A MANDATE. It’s a recommendation giving parents the power. Changing the pediatric vaccine schedule based on no scientific input on safety risks and little transparency will cause unnecessary fear for patients and doctors, and will make America sicker.

@RenoDrew @rockytfs @DrJMarine @CDCgov The gators are basically see-through. They were banned in NY at gyms because they were so useless. Their only use is obscuring your face. I mean, if you’re claiming that a gator is as efficacious as an N95 mask than we really could’ve used that argument 5 years ago

The same "public health experts" who are now losing their minds over a minor change in @CDCgov HepB vaccine recommendation said nothing when some states and school districts forced student-athletes to wear rags soaked with sweat and condensed water vapor over their faces during practice and competitions - even outdoors. In a recent X-space, I heard a former football player describe the feeling of suffocation that he felt during hot summer practices. It brought to my mind the waterboarding technique that Cheney and CIA used on AQ prisoners. Hard to believe that we actually did this to children in the name of "Science." @AppletoZucchini @Rstorechildhood

@TrishtheSkeptic @ZeldaLazar @RetsefL @cdc What was that? Gosh, that was so fast I could barely see the goalposts moving. Thanks for acknowledging you're capable of making a mistake, though. I accept your apology!

They keep saying that the Hep B universal birth dose decreased the incidence of Hep B by 99%😳 But the @CDC data presented at the ACIP meeting tell a different story: Universal birth dose started in 1991 & mandated in 2005. Decrease observed mostly in 20+, started prior to 1991 and plateaued by 2005. The babies born after 1991 were only 15 by 2005. Other interventions which targeted the high risk populations are responsible for the observed decrease! Risk based policies actually work!

@TrishtheSkeptic @ZeldaLazar @RetsefL @cdc You, uh...you sure you read my CV there, chief? Among them: CNN, Advisory Board Company, quite a few sports teams...I know you know those are private sector businesses. You don't need to pretend to be unable to read to score points. It's unbecoming.

@DrJesseMorse Myalgia is the arm pain from the shot which, I mean...yes, should be greater when there's something in the injection besides just saline? What is your point?

Why are there more Achilles tears now than 20-30 years ago? In my opinion there are several factors, including: Change in gait dynamics Turf Longer season More running QBs Longer careers (Pop Warner etc) COVID (vaccine) Compensating injuries We’ve seen a huge uptick in the NBA as well.

@TrishtheSkeptic @ZeldaLazar @RetsefL @cdc My fervent hope for you is that you are never laid up in the hospital, but if you are that your doctor shows up to work when sick with pneumonia and declines to wear a mask while spending time in your room. I hear you that that's what you'd want and respect your consistency.

@TrishtheSkeptic @ZeldaLazar @RetsefL @cdc I actually do think mask MANDATES probably aren't broadly effective due to compliance, poor wearing, etc. We should focus on vigorous indoor ventilation. But it is a mistake to extend that to never wearing masks, ever, if you KNOW you're sick or in healthcare settings.

@TrishtheSkeptic @ZeldaLazar @RetsefL @cdc I provided some data and analysis. Did you assess it as you're all about, or did you dismiss it as vibes? How about collecting your own data through the experiment I suggested? Also keep in mind my example was with someone who is known to be sick - Cochrane studies not that.

@ZeldaLazar @TrishtheSkeptic @RetsefL @cdc So was initially saying masks didn't work and the decision to keep schools closed as long as they were in some big cities (itself downstream of everyone failing to focus on indoor air quality). Probably doesn't build me any points with you, but I've said it many times.

@TrishtheSkeptic @binney_z @RetsefL @cdc They're such drama queens. "You want us dead" reminds me of when they were convinced covid was an existential crisis for humanity. I genuinely couldn't despise these people more.
