I feel so strongly about this.
If you are struggling with prop firms you need to prioritize this.
YOU NEED STATISTICS AND DATA.
It is absolutely everything.
Things you NEED to know
- your average risk to reward per trade
- what time of the day is your model the most profitable
- what timeframe does your edge play out the best on
- should you go breakeven or not
- your most profitable asset
- best days of the week to trade your edge
- what days to sit out of the market
- what months provide you the best returns
- testing your model in different market conditions to prove reliability.
- losing streaks / win streaks
- should you use fixed risk or dynamic risk
This isn’t even a debate you absolutely need this information.
If you don’t have it you are GAMBLING there’s no other way to say it.
You can’t come to the market trade some random shit because of an “idea” use different risk management on different timeframes on 5 different assets.
Put the time in build your edge get the data stick to the process and everything else will follow. 🤝
