Due to the frost in #Russia, crops will have to be reseeded this year on a total area of about 500,000 ha, according to Oksana Lut, a candidate for the post of Minister of Agriculture.
“Three regions have now introduced a regional frost emergency regime. So far, the preliminary data is that 500,000 ha need to be reseeded,”
In addition to the frost the situation is complicated by the fact that “in the south we are really approaching a drought.”
As of today, the state of emergency due to #frost has been introduced in 32 districts.
