@atmoio A couple of weeks ago, I asked myself whether I was falling victim to my own views on the "illusion of knowledge" a human condition exposed by Daniel Kahneman. After talking with friends, doing some research, and watching your videos, I'm confident that I wasn't.

I have a lot of issues with @ahbilbaoo and all the effort he puts into selling his event...or whatever he is trying to sell. LLMs are a real breakthrough, they help you synthesize information. But being more productive, or claiming to be 30x more productive... doesn't come from pretending you've read something when you haven't, or from telling your system prompt to "be aware" of things when you don't even know what you're looking for. At this point, it feels like he's pretending to be an expert when he isn't, perhaps I am just tired of their posts.

@atmoio @atmoio you are right. I would say the focus will be on more seamless integration with external resources (tools and skills), stronger voice capabilities, and multimodal improvements... especially for robotics which a good amount of money will be destined there.

Personalmente, creo que la estrategia de Apple es avanzar hacia un sistema de virtualización, algo que llevan años desarrollando. En ese modelo, no es necesario depender de grandes capacidades de hardware local, y para un fabricante como Apple, ofrecer un dispositivo altamente reciclable termina siendo un negocio redondo por todos lados; en lugar de venderlo lo cambias directamente con ellos.

@jofpin Not eaten…… is more truly democratized than anything else, which has always been the ultimate purpose of software development. Because of that, I think we will face more challenges in the future derived from it.

This is a lie. They are making everyone believe this, and many will take it seriously and abandon ship. Software is still needed to solve problems in complex industries. Beyond that, strong software and real inventions will still be required, things that demand real effort and are difficult to replicate with just 1 or 6 prompts.

@freddier No lo creo eso le daría una ventaja enorme a China. Lo interesante del momento actual es que el éxito depende de que exista variedad y competencia real.

Un escenario probable en el futuro es que los labs (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) cierren sus APIs, para ellos mismos capitalizar replicando las apps. El mercado se volcaría a modelos open source. Casi todos chinos. Sería interesante.

First on programming (where they already have many clients), plus legal and now code security. I guess 2026 will be a poker game between the major AI players.
