Analytics and the over-used “pitch count” ruined a great outing for Michael McGreevy. He deserved the chance to start the 7th, but his “pitch count” was 97 pitches thrown. Another missed managed game by Oli and staff.

@AugieNash I was at the game with my buddy, Andy, when the trade was announced. Didn’t like it. If I remember correctly, Brunansky did not like it here.

#OTD 1988 - The Cardinals trade fan favorite Tommy Herr to the Twins for Tom Brunansky. In his 10 season with the Cardinals, Herr was a known for his timely hitting, steady influence on the field and in the clubhouse, and was a key cog to the Whiteyball era of baseball. #STLCards
