@SpeeDManRL @RyuuTsubasa yea of course. take flying dutchmen as an example of what i mean. they literally just took turns going for the ball, but because they were all coordinated and agreed on the system, it didnt matter how shit it was, and they made RLCS regardless. being correct doesnt always matter.

@birddotexe @RyuuTsubasa That sounds like a well-balanced system. It gives you structure in coordination yet you can still grow. I appreciate the answer, I’m currently learning to be a coach and these things are important for me to give the people I help the best opportunity. ❤️

I think most people count me out of competition at this point, and that's fair considering I can't afford the time required to play, but I have this weird feeling that if I had a solid team I'd have a decent shot at making a main event. I'm not sure how to rate myself though.

@SpeeDManRL The style that I think works best is the one who is critical of everything you do, and coordinates the entire team, both in team sessions and individual sessions. The content doesn't matter. The coach who I felt achieved this best was @RyuuTsubasa

@birddotexe What kind of coaching did you have at the time? Was it because of being heavily structured that you couldn’t really pave your own way? If you could go into a coached squad now, what style of coaching would work best (like an enabling one or mechanics focused one etc etc)?

@SpeeDManRL I've had a lot of different coaches, and almost all of them were heavily structured. No shade to anyone who's coached me btw. They are all fantastic! There is really only one coach who gave 0 structure themselves and was incredibly open ended who I felt didn't lower that ceiling.
