I keep seeing interesting PhD positions and going “ooh maybe I should apply” before I realize that I am not the target audience for those anymore 😂 I just want to learn new things!

@annainthefield I truly don’t know how I got out of PR field work without adopting any puppies…so hard to walk away!

Also, we did talk to neighbors before we got involved. The puppies had been there for a month and no one wanted them. I have the coordinates of the three other pups if anyone wants to go get them... I'm confident they're still there.

Last week in PR, we found four puppies under a truck. We contacted seven shelters, but none responded. We caught one and took it on surveys with us to get it out of the heat and figure out what to do. Long story short, this is Tucker and he now lives NH w/ my mom's friend.

I am PhDONE! I’m so deeply moved and honored by the way my community showed up for me yesterday to celebrate this hard-earned milestone. I’ve looked forward to becoming Dr. Moyer for a long time and I would not be here without the support from you all! Cheers to the next chapter!
