Everyone knows by now the talent that Drake Maye has to become one of the best QBs ITL. Here’s a different perspective on why I’m supremely confident he can be greater than any that has come before him (yes, even him). I think it’ll be worth your time, thanks.

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport Higher peaks of talent and lower valleys. So many of those guys only played a few years of toms career. You still had 01-06 and 13 with nothing, and the entire 2010s were held together by gronk and Edelman amid the worst wr drafting ever. It’s gonna affect a 48gm playoff sample

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Gronk, Moss, Ocho, AB, Mike Evan’s, Chris Godwin, Hernandez, I can even put Edelman in there. MT was the only pro bowl receiver DB had granted colston should’ve had atleast 2. TB had better offense and defensive help throughout his career.

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport Yo he blocked me so I’ll reply once here but I’ll give you that Brees never had anyone close to moss. Still, across all his seasons he was playing with a bunch of bullshit more often than not. It’s close. Drew had colston, mt, graham spread throughout his career, +the backs🔥

@BarryOnHere 1 good offensive teammate in Troy brown in 01. Deion branch drafted 02. O-line built up steadily as the 1st dynasty went on. 06: worse than shit. Drop moss, welker in there. Immediately goat offense. 2010-2019: Bullshit drafting a whole decade, bailed out by gronk and Edelman

@BarryOnHere Tom collectively had the worst offensive talent out of all those guys, heavily impacting his offensive numbers. His defenses tended to be better than all those guys (maybe not Joe), so he won more. Plus he was more clutch ofc, so he won WAY more. Mahomes can get there, let’s see

Here's the career playoff efficiency for 6 Hall of Fame quarterbacks. Not medicore QB's with fluky good playoff stats. 6 HALL OF FAMERS. So how is it, in a sport where winning is heavily correlated with QB efficiency, that the QB with the 2nd worst efficiency of the bunch has by far the most rings? Could it be that Brady was....dare I say.....an overrated luck merchant who got bailed out at an unprecedentedly high rate which led to an inflated ring count?

At this point, this dude is closer to being AJ Muse than I am 😭
Savage@Savageboston

REPORT per: @ProFootballTalk, @tomecurran “This person insisted the Eagles have to trade AJ Brown before next year. If they make the move next year it’s going to wreak havoc on their salary cap.” “People around the league are saying a trade will happen on or after June 2 with AJ Brown most likely being traded to the New England Patriots.”

@milehighami Name one skill-based industry in general where you can reach the top 0.01% with hard work exclusively. We’re out here having arguments about d1 cbb, nba, nfl, mlb, Europe’s t5 leagues like they’re not the best of the fucking best😭

@TitleTalkTCL They're the worst. Honestly the most embarrassing thing about the franchise rn. The reds are good cause they're the reds, but imagine them with actual effort put into them

The Patriots current uniforms are legitimately nothing more than a cash saving mechanic. No TV numbers. No special details. Just low effort with some crappy stripes on the shoulders. The most we can get is some different color pants. Actually LOOK at the uniforms bro

@keldorjedii If anyone were to think of a landscape that represents desolation and hopelessness, there is only one answer based on the biomes that exist on earth: desert. To act like this, along with many other tropes, was directly taken from dune is disingenuous

The way people pretend that Dune is the sole reason stories like Star Wars exist is just flat out wrong. Star Wars was primarily inspired by Flash Gordon, Kurosawa’s samurai movies, and mythical tales about the hero’s journey. It probably would’ve existed with or without Dune.

@James04994193 @CosmonautMarcus Also a bit different to compare a 2010s kids film franchise to an epic from a thousand years ago, when in another thousand years it may be that the avengers are in fact taken as seriously as Beowulf culturally, if not much more

@James04994193 @CosmonautMarcus How are you defining cultural impact here bc we’re talking about how present they are in the zeitgeist, in a “popular culture” sense. Beowulf is iconic and its themes impacted culture across time, but no one who didn’t read it in hs is interacting with it directly today

@AndMelee @thomas_conni @CosmonautMarcus We’re talking about “cultural impact,” not quality. That is the most straightforward description of cultural impact there is

@CosmonautMarcus It’s also just not possible for any film to have the level of cultural impact sw had, bc of what media was before it, and what the media environment is now. This is sorta in defense of denis’ dune. It’s just not possible. The 80s as we know it doesn’t happen without George Lucas

@CryptoMorey Excuse or not, it came out that the titans were concerned about the knee issue hitting in the future when they traded him to philly in the first place

@CryptoMorey It will supposedly accelerate his fall from peak athleticism but that’s 2-3 years away, something we’re willing to take on with Drake on his rookie contract. AJ has had to manage the knee already for multiple years in a row now

@RoyalRiotStock He may have more, but not all. Aj would rather leave, howie knows more abt this knee thing than most, there are cap considerations for ‘27 to take into account. The whole reason news has been popping is bc howie is taking the calls, and if it’s gonna happen, it has to this year

Pats fans need to realize that Howie has all the leverage when it comes to AJ Brown trade talks. We don’t have to trade him. In fact it would be better for us to not trade him. So if the Patriots don’t reach Howie’s price for him he won’t go anywhere.

@hhhh_5050 @TitleTalkTCL You seem to put things into context fine when breaking down what went wrong for Jayden's season but it all goes away when talking about drake huh? If drake played 2022 kc d with 2022 Philly o, and hurts played 2025 sea d with 2025 ne o, yk in your heart how different it looks

@ConquerSportsIO Howie knows aj wants out. He knows he's 29 with a possible knee issue coming. He knows it's much harder to trade him after this offseason. We know they pushed back goedert's void option twice. All of philly media knows this and has accepted it. All of the nat'l media knows this.

It's going to be VERY difficult for Patriots fans to wait, but whether it be closer to the draft or on June 1st, I truly think an AJ Brown trade is happening.

@ConquerSportsIO We went to the gd super bowl in y1 of a rebuild. IK we want the flashy aj trade, but add in Gilliam, hill, AVT and that o is finally looking like a vrabel o. Massive facelift in the run game will change everything. AND I think aj coming is highly likely if not inevitable

Everyone assumed the Patriots would take a step back next season. The way Vrabel and the front office have attacked this offseason says the opposite.
