Big news for Bishop Ranch: AvalonBay Communities has closed on a 5.7-acre site at 6200 Bollinger Road for a new 456-unit residential community. Construction begins this month, transforming a vacant lot into two modern apartment buildings with amenities including a fitness center, pool, work lounge, rooftop deck, WAG Pet Spa, and 640-space garage. This marks another milestone in Bishop Ranch’s long-term vision as America’s best suburban downtown.

A major milestone for housing in the Tri-Valley: The City of San Ramon has approved plans for the city’s first 100% affordable housing community, a partnership between Eden Housing, Inc. and Sunset Development Company. Located within Bishop Ranch, the community will feature 120 residences for working families and 80 for seniors, thoughtfully designed with access to open space and neighborhood amenities.
