@FrDidymus For something like £25 a year, clergy can get insurance from @Ecclesiastical to help with the financial implications of being the wrong side of a CDM, offering up to £250,000 of cover for legal expenses. ecclesiastical.com/church/clergy-…

A number of clergy I know have been through a weaponised CDM process, only to be exhonerated, who received no apology and complainants have received no sanction whatsoever for their actions. I think every priest should dread it happening to them. It's crazy and it has to stop
