In India whether it is deshbhakti or deshsewa- everything has to be done by the citizens. Other than guilt tripping the citizens from spending their own money is there nothing else left for the Govt to do?

Recently bumped into a couple of army people, introduced myself, and they asked about IW and stuff.
I told them everything about ISPR's whole architecture, how they operate and what tools they use to keep things going day in and day out.
I told them about the bot farm as well, and showed them a couple of pictures. They were fascinated by it; they asked pretty straightforward questions.
- Are the platforms aware of this kind of activity?
- How can it be countered?
My answer was just two words: POLICY MAKING!
You can't counter this without making the platforms realise that they have more to gain from the Indian audience than they have to offer.
They realised pulling this would require at least three ministries to work together, so we switched the topic with a good laugh.

Even if we assume that India's military strikes against Pakistan last May were perfect and an unblemished success (which they were not), you have to look at the strategic consequences a year later. If you think India emerged stronger than Pakistan in this period, you need help.

This discussion is a little confused. My understanding is Maxar did limit access to images of Indian facilities during and in the immediate aftermath of the hostilities but with assurances to journalists that they were doing so because no damage was visible. But… /1
