Why is USDT expensive in India? There is no legal straight forward way to buy USDT with INR from out of India hence supply is low and to top it off the demand for USDT is way too much (due to money laundering, hawala, sattebaazi) These alternate usecases forces govt to highly regulate it and any legal way to buy USDT directly with INR at actual price without paying extra. So most USDT/INR books in India are run by few major players and they set the rate, if I buy 100K$ worth of usdt and sell it at USD rate without the said premium the demand will come and buy it all. SENDING INR OUT OF INDIA TO BUY USDT IS A BIG NO BANK WILL BLOCK THE TRANSACTION ❌❌❌ Here is the complete transparency 👍 BIG PLAYERS set the rate and govt allows them to operate in this way.
